A fire broke out last night in a vacant building on the Angelsloërdijk in Emmen. The building was badly damaged by the fire.
Asbestos may have been released during the fire. A special unit of the fire brigade is on site to do research.
The building was once used as a youth care institution. It is opposed to the place of the ‘old Aquarena’ that was demolished in 2020.
