Various police teams are going in Westerbork tonight. An area has been closed around Vogelkerslaan due to research into a possible serious abuse.
A police helicopter also circled above Westerbork for a short time. Local residents say they have heard bangs. Whether shots have been fired is not known at the moment.
It is also unclear whether an injured person has been taken to a hospital and whether suspects have been arrested. The police are working on trace investigation in the Vogelkerslaan.
