Yvonne Coldeweijer becomes the eve of Net5, but who still believes in the independence of the abdicate juice queen? “She sits there like a bat without wings.”
The power of Yvonne Coldeweijer in her time as a juice queen was her independence: she was not affiliated with a media company and had no compassion for any Dutch person. Now that she has signed a contract with John de Mol for a daily Net5 show, that is of course different. To begin with, criticism of Linda de Mol will be forbidden.
Eye
Shownieuws star Dyantha Brooks thinks it is very crazy. “I was really quite surprised when this news came out today, because Yvonne made quite a few show section on SBS 6.
Story-boss Guido den pick-up on that: “You must also know that the TV world is very opportunistic and if there is anyone-you can see that to Johan Derksen-who can cause commotion, that TV bosses often make a blind eye.”
Bat
With a Talpa contract in his pocket, Yvonne will no longer be so controversial, says Guido. “It will of course be that I think she has a waterproof contract. That everything she hears and sees here, that it must stay here. I see it as a kind of bat where the wings of are shorts.”
Bart Ettekoven: “Is it still fun to watch?”
Guido: “Yes, you wonder.”
Dyantha: “If it’s a very good Yvonne.”
No rules
Ronald Molendijk thinks that Yvonne is muzzled for the money. “The big difference is of course that there are actually no rules online and if you work at Talpa, then you have to do a course. Such a course work together.”
“These are all rules. That is also with RTL and the NPO. She and the makers of the program will also have to conform to that. I don’t know what you get then.”
Kamikaze
Guido thinks people no longer have to count on a ruthless Yvonne. “I also don’t think we’ll see the old Yvonne on TV, because you just don’t keep that up. That was just journalistic kamikaze.”
Dyantha: “Yes, from: I heard something somewhere and I immediately throw it online.”
Guido: “In her inbox, something came in and that was immediately thrown online with possibly a day later a rectification. In a journalistic company like Talpa that is not possible.”
Christmas drink
Dyantha wonders if the Talpa star stable is happy with this. “I think it will be a cozy Christmas drink then, right?”
GUIDO: “Well, good, we are always open to everyone. That’s how we are. It was a phenomenon and whether she is still, she will have to prove that. (…) She has an expensive house with a nice thatched roof and she will ultimately have to pay the mortgage of that, so it is not surprising that you may choose some firmness.”
