Vandenbroucke: “Refusing patients because they have increased allowance is not allowed”

Healthcare providers may not refuse patients because they receive an increased allowance. That says Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) in a response to the claim of the Flemish Patient Platform that some doctors refuse to help such patients for that reason. According to the minister, that would be “a shame for the profession”.
