Shortly before her concert on May 9 in Berlin, Billie Eilish took the time for an exclusive fan meeting. There were group photos, hugs and a small question and answer session for around 100 fans.
Berlin is in Billie-Beilish fever
The meeting was organized by the credit card provider American Express and took place at the Berlin Ku’damm. The fans were able to buy various mercharts from the musician on site. At the Q-&-A Eilish probably spoke about her favorite songs of her current album Hit Me Hard and Soft and how the shows of your tour feel for her.
For many of those present, the meeting with Billie Eilish seems to have been a very special moment. “I can’t put it in words yet. That was the best fang girl moment that you can imagine,” said a fan according to “Tagesspiegel”. Another girl said: “I’ve dreamed of that since I was seven years old. Billie is just as close to her fans and not annoyed as other celebrities.”
Jannik Schümann, who is known, among other things through the RTL series “Sissi”, was probably also at the event-but not as an actor, but also as a fan. “She represents an entire generation. It just doesn’t matter what others think about her,” he explained. For some Billie-Seilish supporters: the details seem to have been particularly important inside. “It just smells as good as after fresh laundry,” said another fan.
She is still on tour – but will there be new music again soon?
There were more news for many fans recently: Finneas, Eilish’s brother, told the audience at one of his own concerts that the two are already working on a new album.
On May 9, the 23-year-old musician will play the Berlin show of her current tour in the Uber Arena. As for the rest of their concerts, the tickets were already out of print shortly after the start of sales. For everyone who has left empty, there is currently a more unusual way to hear the singer: At some Berlin S-Bahn stations, the “Ocean Eyes” interpreter currently speaks the announcements. So it was said at the Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof stop: “Hi, This is Billie Eilish”.
