A New York employee died in Krefeld on Wednesday in a “deadly violent crime”.
The clothing provider based in Braunschweig informed about the events on Thursday and was deeply shaken. The company offers psychological and pastoral support on site. The branch remains closed until further notice.
“All New York employees are deeply affected by the death of their colleague. We are very sad and think of the deceased, their family and everyone who is affected by this tragic event in this difficult hour.”

Knife attack in Ladenlokal
The Krefeld police headquarters announced on Thursday that a woman was seriously injured by a 25-year-old man with a knife in a shop on the highway on the midwell, so that she still succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
