Erika Vikman, a Eurovision representative in Finland, has taken a stand on her visa in a recent video sharing a video.
– When you had to cover your pop stars to get your presentation on the Eurovision Song Contest, Vikman writes in the video.
Vikman also commented on the censorship of the buttocks in the video comment box.
– If I’m quite honest, this whole thing about covering your butt is ridiculous. Which double standards, Vikman wrote.

In the video, Vikman is posing in his outfit for the Eurovision Song Contest released this week. He also presents what the outfit looks like at the backside. The leather outfit is made so that the buttocks are left over.

Vikman’s visa outfit has been buzzing all spring. In the Finnish visa qualifiers, the New Music Competition, Vikman appeared in an outfit that left the buttocks exposed. After his UMK victory, Vikman told the Swedish newspaper Expressen that EBU, which organizes visas, has asked him to reduce the sexuality of the presentation.
– It’s not just about one thing, but about the whole: my clothes, what the song tells about how I move on stage. Ebu has said it is too sexual. They want to cover my butt, Vikman told Expressen.
Later, Vikman clarified his statement on Instagram.
– It is part of the process that EBU is discussing with delegations about planned presentations. We have received preliminary wishes in advance: for example, we have been communicated that the UMK bet as such would not be suitable for visas, but there is a need to curb (“Tone Down”), Vikman wrote in March in the Stories section of his Instagram account.

Vikman’s visa was unveiled this week. The outfit is similar in style to UMK. The arms have been added to the outfit completely covered with gloves. The details of the breasts seen in UMK outfit have been removed. Instead, the whole outfit is decorated with gold rivets.
Black leather outfit is designed by fashion designer Let Sarasoja. Vikman has described to Iltalehti that this is a “world -class performance”.
