Goedert flourished in the playoffs
Goedert was originally a second -round pick of the Eagles in Draft 2018 by South Dakota State and has since completed 76 starts for the Eagles. He still had 349 receptions for 4085 yards and 24 touchdowns. Due to the injury, he was active in the regular season in just ten games in 2024, but opened a lot in the playoffs and led Philly with 17 receptions and 215 yards on the way to the Super Bowl triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs (40:22) in New Orleans.
Goeder’s contract adjustment is a further consequence of the light austerity course that the Eagles have carried out in this offseason.
