Nina Hagen made a long and successful career as a musician. That of her band, the Nina Hagen Band, was also successful, but much shorter. In keeping with the 45th anniversary of the second record “Unpainting”, the group’s music is now also available in streaming.

Actually, Nina Hagen preferred to continue solo after the first album. There were probably also disputes between the musicians: inside. The preparations for the following project should have been so far at the time that one still agreed on the inclusion of the second plate – and now there is no longer a bad blood between the artists: inside.
According to the press release, Reinhold Heil, one of the former band members, said the following: “From a distance of 46 years, any differences from that time appear ridiculous, unnecessary and petty. What remains is an accumulation of pieces of music that still is second to none.
The albums “Nina Hagen Band” and “Unpainting” have both been available in streaming over the common platforms since April 29. This means that their music is no longer only audible through limited and high-quality vinyl-re-issues.
