A 47-year-old American tourist who lives in Taiwan was seriously injured on Friday when he tried to climb a fence at the Colosseum in Rome. The man was hit by the handrails of the fence and had to be freed by the emergency services. After an emergency surgery where more than 80 stitches were needed, he was declared out of danger.
