Arturo Vidal was under contract with Bayern for three years. In the meantime he is playing in his home country in Chile – and had to do with a court trial.

Ex-Bayern star Arturo Vidal is no longer suspected of sexual assault. The Chilean public prosecutor has dropped the advertisement against the footballer. There is “no evidence of an indictment,” said the investigators.

The allegations come from last November. At that time, the incident is said to have occurred in a night club in Santiago-after a birthday party in which several players from the Colo-Colo club had also taken part. Vidal is currently under contract with this association. Prosecutor Felipe Cembrano said in a video that the events of that day were reconstructed.

While the procedure against Vidal was hired, the investigation against other, not named members of Colo-Colo, continues.

Vidal had returned to the club in 2023, in which his career had started. Internationally, the midfielder became known for his stations at Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus Turin, FC Bayern, Barça and Inter Milan. Vidal played for the Bundesliga club from 2015 to 2018, winning three championships and once the DFB Cup.

He celebrated the greatest success with the Chilean national team in 2015 – as part of the “Golden Generation”, which at that time won the title at Copa América.
