The US health authority FDA has accepted an application from Novo Nordisk for a new application of the Wegovy pill, as the Danish Pharma company announced.
WEGOVY could thus become the first oral GLP 1 drug for chronic weight regulation and to treat obesity. The FDA deadline for the decision on the application is expected in the fourth quarter, Novo Nordisk continued.
