On the Peelweg in Odiliapeel, the police dismantled a drug lab on Wednesday evening. A total of five people have been arrested.
At around midnight, officers surrounded the house after a report of odor nuisance. The suspicion soon arose that there might be a drug lab in the house. The fire brigade first took measurements there, so that the police could then safely invade.
There, the officers found a drug lab. The five people who were in the house at the time have all been arrested.
Chemicals
Because the chemicals may pose a threat, the National Decommissioning Facility is called in. That service will further dismantle the drug lab on Thursday.
