Elie Shamoun fled Syria after he was abducted and was only released when his parents paid a lot of ransom. He ends up in the Netherlands where, after obtaining his diplomas, he will work in an AZC in Zaandam. Sanne Bos from Landsmeer also works there. They soon notice that it clicks and a beautiful friendship is created. They help each other from their own background in the AZC, but also discover their shared passion for good food and visits.
