The Lowa Sportschuhe GmbH, based in Jetzendorf in Upper Bavaria, returned to the growth path in the 2024 financial year.

On Tuesday, the company, which specializes in outdoor shoes, announced that it was able to generate sales of EUR 233.9 million last year. This corresponded to an increase of 1.9 percent compared to 2023.

“The segments developed particularly gratifying kids, winter shoes and trail running, which contributed significantly to the positive business development,” said the company belonging to the Italian Tecnica group in a message. “In particular, the trail running segment, which was already over the expectations in 2023, was able to tripled the production volume in 2024 as planned.”

Overall, Lowa said that it achieved the second highest annual turnover in its company history. The previous record of almost 236 million euros was reached in 2022.

For the current year, the company expects “continued stable development”. Managing Director Alexander Nicolai sees Lowa strategically well positioned: “Our diversified product portfolio gives us the necessary flexibility to be successful in a challenging market environment,” he said in a statement. “At the same time, we consistently invest in our products, our team and our production capacities. We ensure that we not only react to short -term challenges, but also remain competitive in the long term.”
