“It feels like a close -knit family. The trainer is the father figure. We are here with 24 players, so then I have 23 brothers,” says goalkeeper Kiyani say about the close group dynamics.
A close group
“You can really call some players your childhood friends. You can go to everyone in this group with everything,” adds Yoël van der Ban. “We mainly know each other through and through. I think that makes us very good.”
“We think it is important to give the youth opportunities. We give them dreams. And we help them to make those dreams come true,” says Van Zijtveld.
