Several pets were saved during the fire on Sunday evening in the apartment complex in Eindhoven. Kats Loki and Shira were the worst. They had to take the ventilation and were taken to a veterinary clinic.
On Sunday evening, Brand broke out at an apartment complex on the Offenbachlaan in Eindhoven. According to the police, the fire was probably lit on the balcony of one of the apartments. Then the flames crossed to other houses. Nobody was injured, but the fire brigade had to save several pets. Kats Loki and Shira even had to be ventilation.
The animal ambulance brought the animals to the vet where they are registered. They were treated further there.
On arrival they had an elevation and a lot of stress, says veterinarian Stijn Peters. “They are therefore placed in a loft with extra oxygen. In the morning they are also washed to remove the smoke residues from their fur, so that they do not get it when they lick themselves.”
The black male sneezes a bit, but otherwise both cats are doing well. Their owner is also doing well. She can take them home again on Monday.
