Bayern boss apparently before the jump to Dubai

Marko Pešić is one of the makers of the promotion of Bayern basketball players. But after 14 years, the managing director is apparently facing the jump.
At FC Bayern basketball, decisive ones could change in the coming months. Managing Director Marko Pešić’s contract expires in June – and there are currently some question marks behind his future at the club.
Since 2011, the former international (97 international matches) has been part of the club’s leadership. It was only as a sports director and later as managing director Pešić significantly shaped the development of the team. The construction of the SAP Garden, in which Bayern played every home game in front of a sold -out house (11,500 spectators) this season, is considered one of his central projects. Uli Hoeneß, Honorary President of the Club, had always encouraged the project.
Pešić’s contract was last extended in February 2022. However, as the “Bild” newspaper reports, the 48-year-old has been thinking about saying goodbye for a long time. After 14 years it may be time for a new section. Internally, he is said to have already said goodbye to the team.
At the request of the “picture”, however, Pešić competed at the club in summer. However, speculation about a change does not tear away – the name Dubai BC, an ambitious team that wants to go to the Euroleague, falls particularly often.
In terms of sport, the Bavarians recently accepted two setbacks. In the Euroleague they failed just in the play-in duel against Real Madrid and thus missed the move into the quarter-finals. The hopes for another double also burst in the national trophy – the team resigned in the semi -finals.
Now the Munich residents have only one goal: the championship title. On Sunday (3 p.m./Dyn) FC Bayern will meet the cup winner Syntainics MBC as the league leader in BMW Park.
