During the elections of 9 June 2024- in which Flemish people went to the polls for Flemish, federal and European elections- a lot of citizens were called to help in a voice or counting agency.
In the Kortrijk district, some summoned special or chairmen did not show up or arrived too late. Those people were first offered an amicable settlement, but a number of refused to pay. They therefore had to answer for the court of first instance in Kortrijk.
