A wolf was hit this morning on the A28 near Tynaarlo. The road is closed in a southerly direction and that leads to traffic jams.
The wolf was hit by a motorist around 11.15 am. Police officers then closed the road. The wounded wolf is currently on the emergency lane. A veterinarian is present and looks at what should be done with the wolf.
The car that rode the wolf was towed away by a recovery company. It is not known how the driver is doing.
