In the women’s basketball Bundesliga (DBBL), the Rutronik Stars Keltern also won the second final game for the German championship against the Saarlouis Royals.
The second victory in the final series around the DBBL title also went to the rutronics stars. In the final series, which is held in the “Best of Five” mode, Keltern leads 2-0. The “stars” from the Enzkreis in Baden-Württemberg won on Monday (April 21, 2025) with 93:57 (46:38).
Keltern stronger from the start
After a significant victory in the first quarter for wine presses, the second quarter ran briefly at eye level and the guests from Saarlouis were able to catch up with Keltern (22:22). The basketball players from the Enzkreis then made it clear with a 31:15 run in the third quarter who will win the second final game.
With 19 points, Alexandra Wilke was a top scorer from Keltern. Quinesha Lockett and Alexandria Kiss-Rusk followed with 15 and 13 points each.
In game three, Keltern has to go away
The third game of the final series will take place on Friday (25.04.2025) in Saarlouis and is the first away game for wine presses in the final series. With a victory in Saarlouis, the basketball players from Keltern could secure the DBBL title. The game starts at 7 p.m.
