Two sports sizes among themselves: Alexander Zverev prevailed in Munich on Easter Sunday and won the tournament. Bayern star Thomas Müller was sitting in the audience.
Alexander Zverev couldn’t have imagined his birthday better. The German tennis star turned 28 on Easter Sunday and gave himself the victory at the ATP tournament in Munich. He defeated the American Ben Shelton 6: 2, 6: 4-and thus ended his form crisis, who gave him up puzzles. Another sports star: Thomas Müller also followed the profit in the Bavarian capital.
The Bayern veteran sat in the audience and experienced live how Zverev got second place in the world rankings. Müller also posted a photo of himself at the tournament on Instagram. On the snapshot you can see how the footballer sits in the stands in Munich and visibly enjoys the mood on the well -filled court. In the background, the award ceremony for Alexander Zverev can be seen, the name of which is also emblazoned on a large banner.
Müller wears a white polo shirt and sunglasses – and seems to spend the sunny Easter day in a relaxed atmosphere. The 2014 world champion wrote about the photo: “Congratulations to Alexander Zverev for his great performance today.” And what did Zverev do? The tennis ace reacted to the link and commented back with a link: “Thomas Müller, best man.” The audience also sang “Happy Birthday”. Zverev himself wrote to a post on Instagram: “Well that was a happy birthday! Always win something special at home!”
