A dead woman was found in a house on Molenstraat in Wanroij on Sunday afternoon. The 46-year-old woman was probably killed by violence. The police arrested her 47-year-old ex-partner in Duiven in Gelderland.
The emergency services pulled out en masse to the house along the provincial road N602. A trauma helicopter also landed, but all the help came too late for the resident of the house.
Her ex-partner, who also comes from Wanroij, was arrested as a suspect in Duiven later in the evening, some sixty kilometers away.
Police investigation
The technical investigation does trace research at the woman’s house. By the fire brigade, screens have been placed in front of the house in question so that the police can investigate the case out of sight of bystanders. The street is spacious with police rates.
The trace investigation will take most of the evening to find out what exactly happened in the house and with the victim.
