A deceased person was found this afternoon in a house on Molenstraat in Wanroij. The victim may have been killed by violence and the police are investigating the case. The street is spacious by agents.
The emergency services pulled out en masse to the house along the provincial road N602. A trauma helicopter also landed, but all the help came too late for the victim.
Nothing has been announced about the identity of the deceased person and the precise circumstances.
Police investigation
According to the police, much is still unclear and extensive research is being conducted by the forensic investigation.
The fire brigade has since placed screens in front of the house in question so that the police can investigate the case out of sight of bystanders.
