Jürgen Klopp has been working for Red Bull for several months. But recently a few curious reports made the round. What about it?
In the past few days, rumors about a possible change from Jürgen Klopp to Real Madrid or the Brazilian national team have been circulating. Media from Spain and Brazil reported that the former Liverpool coach was a hot candidate for the coaching office for both teams.
Background of speculation: The 56-year-old is said to be dissatisfied with his new task as a “Head of Global Soccer” in the Red Bull cosmos-and therefore open to discussions with Real Madrid. However, this does not correspond to reality, says Klopp’s consultant Marc Kosicke. At Sky Kosicke now made it clear: “Jürgen is very happy with his new role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull.”
Zsolt Löw, currently interim coach of Rasenballsport Leipzig, which is one of the clubs supervised by Klopp, said: “From the outside it was the right decision. He is very happy in his role.”
