On the proposal of Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers approved 4 ambassador’s statements. These are only final when the guest countries have given their approval. The Council of Ministers also agreed to the appointment of the permanent representative at the OSCE.
The Council of Ministers agreed to the appointment of ambassadors for the following posts:
- Burkina Faso, with Ouagadougou: Pieter Smidt van Gelder, now strategic policy advisor at the Strategic Advice Unit.
- Niger, with the Niameyy: André Carstens location, now flexibly deployable ambassador in the TZ Flexpool.
- Pakistan, with the location Islamabad: Robert-Jan Siegert, until recently head of Coordination Support and reconstruction Ukraine at the Europe Department.
- Zimbabwe, with Harare: Carel Richter, now Consul-General Dubai.
The Council of Ministers agreed to the appointment of the permanent representative at the OSCE:
- PV OSVSE (permanent representative at the Organization for Safety and Collaboration in Europe), with Vienna Location: Monique de Ruijter, now Department Head of EU EU policy at the Integration Europe Department.
