The trial for the death of Diego Armando Maradona – who sees seven health workers accused of negligence in the death of the former footballer – enriches himself “(so to speak) of a new testimony. It is that of Dalma Maradona, one of Diego’s daughters, who last on Tuesday pointed the finger at those who should have taken care of Maradona in a very delicate moment: “The room in which my father was was disgusting: he stinking with urine, no human being should have found himself in such a place, let alone my father in those health conditions”. Dalma, substantially, claims to have been somehow “fracted” by the medical team that should have followed Diego closely: “They promised us a home hospitalization that never happened. They made us believe in something that never existed. We were deceived in the most cruel way, in order to support that lie”. The process will continue in the coming weeks and it is not yet clear what the evolution of the story will be. Certainly, however, the testimony of Maradona’s daughter throws further shadows on Diego’s death.
