Technicolour, a pop rock band that was wildly wild in the 21st century, is making a comeback. Starts to gig and will also release new music before the coming summer.

The first gigs Technicolour will do in the summer. More gigs are coming in the fall.

Founded in 2001 by Jimi Pääkallo, the band is remembered for their hits All my life, Teach me love and Fireflies. The band ceased operations at the end of 2007. In 2008, it was reported that the band would have broken completely.

The band will return this year with a new configuration. The band features founder Jimi Pääkallo, original members Gary Keskinen and Toni Hintikka, who has been involved on the first album and tour Aki Räty And as a new face Sami Osala.

Jimi Pääkallokallo says in the release that there has been talk of the band’s return several years ago.

– As early as 2020, it would be nice to go to the gigs in 2020, but then it felt like the stars weren’t in the right position for this, the skull starts in the release.

– In the summer of 2023, I went to see a couple of Springsteen gigs in Amsterdam, and Black felt like this guy made me heart surgery straight from the stage. It became the feeling that they would like to experience and share the euphoria and sense of community brought by live, he continues.

According to the skull, the band’s gigs will be a “decent rock show” and they have several surprising cards on the sleeve.

– I can’t wait to get everything on stage again, says Jimi Pääkallo.

Gary Keskinen is also loud in the bulletin.

– This has been built for two years now, and it’s great that this is finally happening. It is also great that Sami Osala, who has previously known for all of us, has previously played in Sunrise Avenue, Gary Keskinen described in the release.
