Condé Nast International brings GQ to Hong Kong in the summer of 2025. The introduction takes place in license with Rubicon Publishing Ltd., the publisher behind Vogue Hong Kong, as the companies announced on Tuesday. The first print edition of the men’s magazine for fashion and lifestyle is planned for September 2025.

The magazine appears in traditional Chinese, accompanied by a bilingual website and social media channels. GQ Hong Kong is managed by Desiree Au as a publisher, Jumius Wong as editorial director and Alex Sun as Executive Director.

“As an editorial director of GQ Hong Kong, it is an honor for me to represent a brand that defines style, culture and innovation for the modern man,” says Wong. “Our passion is driving the industry forward – together we shape a dynamic, new era for style and media.”

With a “global-local narrative”, GQ Hong Kong is aimed at a demanding audience in the region. In addition to fashion and lifestyle, according to the press release, the magazine should also promote authenticity, creativity and individual expression.

Six years after the start of Vogue Hong Kong, the new edition is expanding the Rubicon editorial portfolio. Against the background of Hong Kong’s role as a financial center and stylistic metropolis of Asia, GQ is intended to become an impulse provider for cultural and creative exchange in the region – and at the same time celebrate the identity of the city.
