The man who was arrested in Curaçao yesterday in the investigation into the murder of Peter R. de Vries has arrived in the Netherlands. A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service (OM) has confirmed that.

The 39-year-old Raily B. is said to have “played a managerial role” in a criminal organization that, among other things, was behind the murder of De Vries. The suspect was already in prison in Curaçao. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a shooting at an airport.

According to the spokesperson for the OM, the suspect will be brought before the examining magistrate and taken to a cellar complex. He will then be interrogated.
