The Seattle Seahawks made a quarterback exchange in the NFL offseason. Geno Smith is gone, but Sam Darnold came to the northwest of the USA. And yet the quarterback position remains an issue in Seattle.

Most recently, the Seahawks had some of the quarterbacks that are available in the upcoming draft. Seahawks-GM John Schneider does not want to leave the fact that many experts say that it is not a good draft class when it comes to quarterbacks.

“I would be careful when you hear that this is not a good draft for quarterbacks,” he said on the team’s official website. “I think it comes to the team, the player, the quarterback, the way and where you want to get it,” added Schneider.

In the visits to the quarterbacks at the Seahawks, you shouldn’t interpret too much. “If we bring them into the building, it is really a question that we need more time, we need more answers and we need more time with the players,” he said. It is much more about completing the scouting in order to be prepared for the draft as best as possible.

The Seattle Seahawks signed two new quarterbacks with Sam Darnold and most recently Drew Lock after Geno Smith said goodbye to Las Vegas. It is certainly not excluded that you are trying to land a stroke of luck in the draft and find a young quarterback for the future.

NFL: Do only two QBs go in round one?

If you believe the forecasts, then there are actually only two quarterbacks in the upcoming draft with cam ward and Shedeur Sanders that will leave the board on day one. While Cam Ward was the safe first overall pick of the Tennessee Titans, opinions at Sanders differ.

From a top 3 pick to free fall into picks 20 to 30, everything is apparently possible for the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders.

However, there is a lot of potential for quarterback for the rest of the days. Loud sport.de-Kolumnist and RTL expert Adrian Franke could therefore even have a historical day 2 in the draft. Will the Seahawks also get involved?
