Customs warn In its name, the scam messages moving. According to this release, there are many messages on the move, and notifications have been received daily since the beginning of April.
The messages are similar, of which the Traficom Cyber Security Center warned last week. The message implies that the recipient is invited to the interrogation. Further information will be directed to read from the site behind the link.
– This is a scam message whose link should not be opened, Customs Communications Director Mika Parkkonen says in the bulletin.
According to the Cyber Security Center, Tullioy has been shown as the sender of the message. This is not the official sending ID of Customs and the Customs is not a limited liability company. Customs will appear as the sender of the messages sent by genuine Customs.
These messages are not from customs
Customs reminds in its announcement that it will never send text messages that contain links or reminders of unpaid customs fees.
Also, Customs will never send you customs requests by SMS. An arrival notification of the shipment to be promoted always sends a transport company, not a customs.
The purpose of the scammers is to guide the recipient to the scam site. They typically fish bank IDs, debit card numbers or other personal information.
