“Never before has it been so hot so early in the year”: with 25.1 degrees in Uccle a day record is killed again

With 25.1 degrees in Uccle, today it is the hottest April 12th ever. The previous day record from 1939 was 24.4 degrees. Our weatherman David Dehenauw confirms that. “It is the earliest day in the year that we record at least 25 degrees since we keep track of day records,” he says. Until today, April 13, 2007 was the earliest day with a summer 25 degrees.
