Windows 11 compatibility does not mean that the machine is unusable.

Windows instructs the old Windows 10 in recycling. Tero Lehto

Microsoft has published a blog post that instructs Windows 10 users to act as the company’s desired as the operating system support ends on October 14th.

Guide is directed to Windows 10 users whose current device does not meet Windows 11 requirements.

The message in the guide is stupid. The owner of the Windows 10 device is guided to empty and recycle their device properly. The advice seems rugged, as Windows 10 compatibility does not mean that this is an unusable machine. For example, different Linux distributions and Chrome OS can be lighter options for an older machine.

At the end of the guide, it is stated that after recycling the machine, the user is “ready to face the future”. The transition to the Windows 11 operating system is justified by better security, new tools, more efficient performance, compatibility and better support.
