Miljuschka Witzenhausen gets a big twist around her ears because during her media appearances it is not about anything else than eating and her notorious uncle Willem Holleeder. “Now we know!”
At the start of her TV career, Miljuschka Witzenhausen tried to keep it secret for a long time that she is the niece of the infamous top criminal Willem Holleeder. In the meantime, of course, everyone has known that for years and years, and she does anything but mysterious about it. In fact, nowadays it is very often at Miljuschka.
Two storylines
Mark Koster, MediaColumnist of De Telegraaf, was watching the Herman van der Zandt-Flop the reunion this week and Miljuschka was the main guest. The TV critic notes that he is starting to get tired of her, because she always comes up with the same Holleeder talk.
It is high time that the woman once again executed herself, he writes in the newspaper. “I get tired of Witzenhausen because she only has two story lines.”

That first storyline is about food. “To accentuate that, she always puts a lot of food in her mouth, which does not immediately produce the most attractive television. Two: she always arrives with the story about her heavy childhood in Amsterdam.”
Miljuschka’s mother Astrid has been terrorized by Willem. And at some point you have to close that once for yourself, says Mark. “Holleeder is a lifelong prison sentence, but sometimes it seems like he is walking around freely.”

Mark simply doesn’t think it is any more entertaining story. “Understand me well. That threat was and is horrible, but I know her tune now.”
