Willem and Saskia were unable to do without ‘their’ café in Benidorm and open new business: ‘Sitting at home is not’

In a quarter of a century, Café-Restaurant Pinocchio grew into ‘consulate’ for Dutch tourists and winterers in Benidorm. Lief and sorrows were shared and now known Dutch singers sang their first songs abroad. Last year Willem and Saskia van der Jagt (70 and 58) sold their business, but the pension did not last long. Yesterday they opened Wilsas, around the corner at the old spot: “It is not sitting together at home either.”
