The Tonys are the most important American theater prizes. The awards were presented for the 79th time. Singer Pink presented the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York. She kicked off the ceremony with a Broadway version of the song Lady Marmalade, with cast members from all the nominated musicals singing along.
