The Damloop finish has been moved due to a large -scale renovation. Peperstraat is completely overhauled. Halfway through 2025 the first buildings will be demolished. 571 homes, an underground parking garage and a park come back to it.

The location for the Zaan is somewhat striking. Initially, the finish would be laid in the Kepplerstraat in Zaandam. The starting time also changes compared to previous editions. The runners will start an hour earlier on Sunday. As a result, the finish will also take place an hour earlier. The reason for this is that the runners experienced too much inconvenience of the high temperatures during Damloop.

Thousands of runners will participate in the Damloop. The distance is five and ten English miles (16.1 kilometers). Pros from home and abroad participate in the ten miles.

The registration of the Damloop opens on Saturday, April 19.
