Are we ourselves who move away from corporate life when we are really ready to occupy these positions?

What beliefs do we have to underlie this decision?

Is it really what we want or is it the system that drives us to make the leap and run from corporate maelstrom?

In my experience accompanying other women to reinvent themselves professionally, many times are their own beliefs and biases about what they consider to be a leader that leads them to give up growth opportunities. Being CEO implies assuming great responsibilities and managing demands that until the bug of being mothers does not begin to chop us.

Without a doubt, our rules of the game change when we are!

I consider it important to identify the beliefs we have about our professional growth and challenge the idea of having to choose between the career and the family.

Personally, I think life is not a simple game of black and white. There are nuances, and it is our responsibility to identify and seek them. Opening this dialogue is key not only to challenge our limiting beliefs, but also to promote an environment that supports our professional development and at the same time our role as main caregivers.

In conclusion, perhaps the question is no longer whether we want to be CEOS, but how we can be, choosing consciousness every step we are taking as professional moms.
