Kimmo Kapanen is the new sports director of the Flyers. Timrå ever
Oulu’s flies reported on Tuesday that Kimmo Kapanen is the club’s new sports director.
Yesterday Monday, SHL club Timrå Ik announced that Kapanen would leave his position as the club’s sports director. Kapanen worked in Sweden for two seasons.
In his announcement, Timrå said that in February, Kapanen redeemed an article on termination of an employment relationship in his contract. The termination of the employment relationship was reported to have been due to family reasons.
At the same time, the Oulu club said that the previous sports director Mikko Myllykoski has been released from its mission.
Kapanen is excited about the SM League Grand Society.
– It’s been a long spring time to think about what I want to do when we decided to return to Finland. The end result is here. I found a place like. It is a great job to start working on this, Kapanen told Iltalehti.
According to Kapanen, things with the Flyers were grooved in the last week. The rumors of Kapanen’s possible return came to Oulu well in advance of this left Timrån, after which the conversation opened.
