A shed in a piece of forest in the Asser district of Marsdijk was demolished by Vandalen this weekend. The shed was used by beekeeper Jan de Jonge, who stored things he used for his bees. Those things were taken and destroyed.
Beekeeper Jan de Jonge fell into his shoes when he saw the havoc yesterday. The roof of the shed is in two pieces on the floor and the rest of the boards and wooden panels are scattered over the ground. On Sunday there was one more wall, but it has also fallen over.
“Why is this going again?” Jan wonders. “This is unimaginable.” Various things have been taken from the shed, such as garden tools, a scythe, a bearer and a drum with half a kilo tobacco. A bearer is a device with which a beekeeper blows smoke in the bee’s nest to calm the bees.
A warning sign that hung on the edge of the forest to warn people of falling branches was gone. The thieves set that sign on fire a little further. Jan found the things that were in the shed in the neighborhood. But the things for the bees were broken.
