Last year, Netto 140 childcare places were added in Flanders. This is apparent from the figures of Statistics Flanders. “That is a particularly small progress. The previous Flemish government had nevertheless promised 5,000 extra places. At that pace it will take 35 years before that is made objectively,” says Flemish MP Lise Vandecasteele.
