Fewer people suspected of crime, especially young people commit fewer criminal offenses

Young people commit a crime much less often than ten years ago. The number of minor suspects was relatively third lower last year than in 2014, Statistics Netherlands selected. Among young adults between 18 and 23 this decreased by almost 50 percent. This is the age group that is caught relatively most often after a crime.
