The Munich Fabric Start has a new management.

The group behind the textile fair of the same name will be headed by Peter Dumont and Florian Klinder as managing director of a double tip, the Munich Fabric Start Exhibition GmbH announced on Wednesday. The two designated managing directors follow the previous managing director Sebastian Klinder, who left in mid -March.

DuMont brings his expertise into marketing and sales and will particularly develop the internationalization and digitization of the fair. Klinder, in turn, will focus primarily on the expansion of cooperations, according to the message. Creative Director Frank Junker remains the Munich Fabric Start despite the change and will continue to support the company with its extensive trade fair and evaluation expertise.

“The Munich has a strong standing and offers unique trade fair formats,” says Dumont. “It is an honor for me to support the outstanding team together with Florian Klinder in the further development of the successful formats. At the same time, we will set new priorities without fundamentally changing strategic positioning. I am really looking forward to these new challenges.”

The new management team continues to focus on strategic topics such as cooperation, internationalization, innovation and sustainability in order to further develop the fair. The View Premium Selection on July 1st and 2nd July 2025 offers a first insight into the Motorworld Munich, where a curated selection of high -quality textile collections is presented for the autumn/winter 2026/27 season. Due to the positive response, the organizers expect: Inside with a higher number of exhibitors: inside compared to the previous year.

In September, the Munich Fabric start with over 1,000 collections that present current fabric trends and material innovations. At the same time, the Denim specialist fair will continue to take place and the Keyhouse Innovation Hub.
