The Viennese fashion label Wendy Jim designs the uniforms of the employees of the Austrian pavilion at the Expo 2025 in Osaka. The design duo behind the brand, Helga Schania and Hermann Fankhauser, prevailed against 16 designers: inside and labels, which also participated in the design competition for the design of the corporate wear, said the Austrian Fashion Association on Tuesday.
Visual is that for the employees: Inside the Austria Pavilion, a mix of “High Fashion and Streetwear” is created and plays with iconic Austria pictures, according to the message. Specifically, this can be seen in oversized suits, jeans and shirts that are decorated with white-red details and with prints of Austrian landmarks.
“We are very happy to see our uniforms at the employees of the Austrian pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka,” said Wendy Jim. “You have a contemporary, modern, elegant look that is inspired by both street style and high fashion. It is great that the Expo office has given us trust to be able to implement our vision of a modern uniform.”

The collection not only met the requirements of the design competition advertised by the Expo office of the Austria Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Austrian Fashion Association-the designer: Inside, to develop a cloakroom that should not only act as an image carrier for Austrian design and business card of the pavilion, but also harmoniously merge with its architecture-but also convinced the jury the tender.
From April 13 to October 13, 2025, the world exhibition takes place in Osaka, Kansai, Japan under the motto designing future society for our lives.
