The rumors around Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers persist. However, the NFL team does not urge a quick decision.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was asked about the Aaron Rodgers personnel in the course of the League Meeting in Florida and asked if a deadline had been set internally at the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“Not that I knew,” the head coach answered “Espn”. “I don’t know if we approached the matter in the way. Of course I would also like to have clarified conditions, but Deadlines often don’t help,” added Tomlin.

As is well known, the Steelers moved from Russell Wilson and Justin Fields after a manageable pre -season and have been looking for a starting quarterback since then. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers is looking for a new team, his other two options with the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants no longer exist. Accordingly, the NFL veteran actually only remains Pittsburgh, provided that he wants to continue his career.

NFL: Rodgers was already a guest in Pittsburgh

Most recently, Rodgers was already a guest at the Steelers. However, the conversations were not about a possible time. Tomlin Rodgers wanted to get to know much more on a personal level.

“It was reported that he spent a day with us and it was a really good day,” said Tomlin. “Of course he and I have known each other for some time, but it was really good to spend some time together and get to know each other better. It’s a process.”

Tomlin added: “I really wanted to spend more time with him to get to know him better and things he appreciates as a player and man and what he is looking for at his next station.”

It can only be seen whether the Steelers will be this next stop and, above all, when this decision will be made.
