47 shops closed after clan raids

Now the Senate’s interior administration took stock of the constant clan raids on late night shops, barbershops, arcades and shisha bars. And it shows clear results!

In a total of 178 police control operations – 71 of them with the support of customs, regulatory and financial authorities – 572 shops were checked and 47 closed.

were confiscated:

► 108,132 euros (mainly proceeds from the sale of narcotics)

► 7688 untaxed cigarettes

► 238 kilograms of water pipe tobacco

► 1259 sales units of narcotics

► 55 motor vehicles

► 53 gaming machines

► 68 Weapons and Dangerous Items

A total of 295 suspects and 849 crimes related to clan crime were registered.

The focus was on traffic offences, narcotics crime, violent and property crime and fraud.

245 administrative offenses were recorded by 145 people – with a focus on violations of the Infection Protection Act, the Weapons Act, in the area of ​​transport and false or refusal to provide names.
