Early lead for FC Ingolstadt

With the first real chance to score, the Schanzer (21st) took the lead through Yannick Deichmann. Regensburg immediately tried to do everything against it. First, Noah Ganaus missed the possible equalizer despite two chances in a row. Then the post saved FC Ingolstadt, a right-footed shot from Dominik Kother had too much spin to the outside. Ganaus managed to get the ball into the opponent’s goal (40′).
