MSV Duisburg missed the autumn championship in the 3rd football league.
In the Rhenish duel at Viktoria Köln, the former Bundesliga club only managed a 0-0 draw and is third with 34 points behind Energie Cottbus (36) and SC Verl (35). In the three games in December, MSV only got two points and remained without a goal for the second time in a row.
Maximilian Dittgen (71st) and Patrick Sussek (76th, 90th + 3) missed the best chances for MSV. Cologne could have secured victory shortly before the end, but Duisburg’s goalkeeper Maximilian Braune (88th) was there for a good cross.
