3rd league: Jens Keller new coach at SV Sandhausen

SV Sandhausen has a new head coach: Jens Keller takes over for Danny Galm, who was relieved of his duties by the club after the draw against Verl.

Galm was released on Sunday (October 22nd) following disappointing results and performances. The SVS had previously played 2-2 against Verl.

Galm only took over the SVS at the start of the season after relegation from the 2nd league. He collected 16 points in twelve games with Sandhausen, and in eleventh place in the table the team is far behind its own expectations.

Jens Keller is looking forward to an “exciting task”

Now Keller should do it. “First of all, I would like to thank the club management for their trust in my work. I am looking forward to this exciting task and would like to be on the pitch with the team as quickly as possible,” said the experienced coach.

The 55-year-old worked in Germany successively for VfB Stuttgart, FC Schalke 04, Union Berlin, FC Ingolstadt and 1. FC Nürnberg.
